Amma offering Pension to poor and destitute women at Kolkata
Charitable service activities for the benefit of economically weaker sections of the society are held at Amma’s Kolkata Ashram premises on a weekly basis. These include general health check up camps, special checkup camps for Eye, ENT, Diabetes and more. All these camps are concluded with Annadanam for all participants, along with Ashramites and devotees.
Amma has also started a scheme of old age pension for poor and destitute women and special regular assistance for handicapped people. The number of beneficiaries receiving aid in these categories is increasing every year.
